Our History
1985
Charity Christian Center was formed upon a vision that the Lord gave Pastor Don L. Bradford, in 1985. After several months of home bible study and a miraculous trip to a Kenneth Hagin Camp Meeting in 1985, the Lord birthed Charity Christian Center into the Pastors’ spirit.
1992
On Sunday, December 17, 1992, CCC held their first service in their new location at 650 W. McKinley Street. In August of the following year, Kingdom Kids Daycare Center was established at the new location, along with the Victorious Living Radio
Ministry, a Clothing Distribution Center and the Charity Christian Center Summer Day Camp.
2010
On October 22, 2010, under the appointment of The Holy Spirit and the advisement of their Pastors and spiritual parents, Drs. Phillip & Brenda Goudeaux of Calvary Christian Center of Sacramento, California, Dr. Linda Bradford was officially appointed Pastor of Charity Christian Center and Dr. Don Bradford was officially
appointed as the Bishop/Overseer.
2011
Throughout the years, Charity Christian Center has continued to go, grow, and multiply. Though trials have come, they still continued to press on, and in October, 2011, Charity Christian Center was once again blessed to purchase a new church facility at 871 O’Neal Ln, which includes an annex building, currently housing a daycare and Don Bradford Bible College classrooms.
2013
The Don Bradford Bible College was birthed from a vision that Bishop Don L. Bradford received several years ago — a vision to develop men and women into strong, effective leaders, stewards, and servants who make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God. Pastor Linda Bradford brought that vision to life in 2013 by launching the college’s first semester of classes and welcoming its inaugural group of students. Today, the Don Bradford Bible College is an accredited institution where students can earn Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees.
2013
On August 17, 2012, the Founder, Pastor, Teacher, Mentor, and Father of Charity Christian Center, Bishop Don L. Bradford, passed away, leaving his wife, Dr. Linda Bradford to carry on the legacy he started as inspired by God.
